I want that jet black that looks kinda like blue but i do not want blue hair. Kinda like ahshlee simpson before when she had black hair. When i go to the salon what color should i say or should i just color it at home.

use a soft black. I used a revlon hair product...I'll get back to you on the name of it (i'm thinking it's colorsilk but let me make sure). I have the pic on my 360 page (the one with my daughter) and that's what it looked like and I was blonde before! I went from blonde to black and it came out good.

They sell "blue-black" shades of haircolor at most stores that carry hair color, since you are going darker, it would be easy to do at home. Have a friend help you and make sure to use old towels (it will stain them) and wipe up any spatters as they happen. Putting a line of vasiline along your hairline will help keep the dye off your face. Follow the directions on the bottle.

Just so you know, even if you get the non-permenant kind of color, the black usually will never completely rinse out, so your stuck with it until it grows out.
