HELP! How do i get hair dye out?!?

about 2 month ago, i dyed my naturally red hair blue with punky temporary hair color. well it faded really fast and i wanted it blue angain so i redyed it. now i want it out. it isnt fading very well, and it turned an ugly greenish color. its only grown out abou 1/3 of an inch-at the best. my hiar is curly and about shoulderlength and my mom wont let me cut it or bleach it out. also, shampoo only fades it a little. strong dish soap fades it more than the shampoo but still not very well. PLEASE HELP. i cant even go to a salon because i live in the middle of nowhere. i need to get it out by september.

Don't just shampoo your hair, but condition it as well. A deep conditioner will help with the fading process as well as preserve the integrity of your hair. Usually a temporary color stains the hair, so it will eventually come out, just remember for future reference that the more you use a product like that the more receptive your hair will be to it. I am sure that it will be gone by Sept..... and as for going to a salon. I am sure there is a salon as close to you as where ever you purchased this temporary color.

Don't get frustrated, your hair will return to normal with time. Cutting it off should not be necessary.

Are you sure that you didn't use permanent this time? The best suggestion that I have for you is to dye your hair back to as close as you can get to your natural color. This time you should get it professionally done so it will come out right and you don't damage your hair.

The only thing I can suggest is get a darker color and dye it again, try a darker red im sure if you try a new color it will take it, my sister did the same thing and all she had to do was dye it again, just get a color that goes with you.

i was in walgreens a week ago buying hair dye, and they had 3 different products to use on your hair if your color did not come out right,it is suppose to take you back to your natural color,i don't know the name but just look in your hair care isle.

When you wash with permanent color, if you don't like it, your only options are to wait for the color to grow out or to dye over it (which, again, DEFINITELY requires a pro).

I worked at a beauty supply store for years, and girls came in there and would do the same thing you did, the only thing you can so is go to a professional or just let it grow out. I have natural red hair, don't cover it up, most guys love a red head, we are HOT!

See a good stylist to revert the hair color. You should not experiement on your own at this point. It can only make the hair fall out or break. When your hair grows back, it will always grow back at your natural color. Don't talk to anyone but an experienced salon color/stylist.
