I colored my hair and now it's so black it's blue, how long should I wait to do high light

I have the same problem and i must say I have never had so much touble changing color of my hair until now. Black seems to the the hardest color to change so I would wait until you can go to your stylist because I tried to change mine from black to light brown 3 times this week and all it did was give me a greenish tint and now i'm stuck with it for a few weeks because I can't keep dying my hair or else it will fall out.

Wait a few weeks before doing anything. Regular washes should help get the hi lites out.

Lol. i had black hair for months then decided i wanted a change. the only way to do it is grow it out as for highlights id wait a few weeks before you attempt that....and anyways bluey black hair aint all that bad thats what i want.

that's no dear that's almost impossible, if you used a dark brown maybe you would have had a chance some day to lighten it up a little, but the black one is too hard to wash it out believe me, i work at a beauty salon and i also made that same mistake... i still regret it, so just let it grow because if you try anything you will ruin your hair cause that also happened to me... i hope i was able to help you with my answer...
