Since you are going darker you don't need bleach, bleach is only used to go lighter.

Semi-permanent lasts about 8-10 shampoos if you do it yourself, if u get it done at a salon they might put you under a dryer which would make the color last a much longer time.

Semi-permanent only colors the outside of the hair shaft and doesn't penetrate into the hair shaft, which is why it washes out and your natural hair color will most likely come back after the color washes out.

Permanent color lasts forever, it penetrates the hair shaft therefore changing your hair color and not letting you go back to your natural color unless you dye it back to your natural color. Permanent color is much more harsh on the hair than semi-permanent and as any hair dye it fades and can become too brassy, and you will also have to touch up your root with dye since your hair will grow and your roots with be your natural color since it has not been affected by the dye.

you dont need to bleach it.. if your doing it yourself, just use 2 boxes of hairdye to make sure the color is strong. another way you could do it is by dying your hair black then going to a beauty supply store or somewhere with a big variety of hair colors and find a small container of blue hair dye. put some of that on your hair and you'll have a instant blue tint on your hair.

from my experience with hair dye, permanent lasts for a long long time but it fades, but the color is definatly still there. semi permanent lasts for like 2 months.

well, you wouldn't need bleach at all for blue-black since your hair is dark.

and, it all depends on what type of hair you have, and how much you wash it.

i have really thick hair, so i don't wash it everyday, so the semi-permanent stays in pretty long.

semi-permanent is a lot healthier for your hair too. and if you ever decided to change your hair color, it's a lot easier to take out then the permanent dye.

You can do streaks. It might be a little less BYAAHH!!! I believe you will have to strip your hair. I have light brown and the blue didn't show up very well. I stripped my hair and then blued it and it worked much better. Don't buy cheap dye either.

peroxide 20 vol and the dye. do permanant b/c semi permanant lasts up to 9 washes only.

No. You don't need to bleach your hair unless you are dying it a lighter shade or an unnatural color. Permanent colors are obviously permanent and the color tends to fade after about 6 weeks. Semi permanent color washes out of your hair in about 12 to 16 washes but can stain hair.

You will not need to bleach your hair, you are only adding colour to your hair. Permanent colour needs to grow out, but it does tend to fade slightly as time goes on and does need to be refreshed. Semi permanent last approx 6 weeks, it washes out the hair gradually you never get a regrowth with this, hope this answer is a help to you.

NO NO NO it would be best to use a semi perm that washes out or "dulls" in about 3-4 weeks, since its almost summer time. and you can change it again at that time.
