Hair help!!!?

I have used so many different shampoos to treat my greasy hair. I've used Herbal Essence, Garnier Frutice, Insufion, Suave, Head and Shoulders, Selsun Blue, NONE WORK! My hair is always getting greasy. I have to wash my hair every single night, and I hear that isn't too healthy for your hair.

thanks in advance.

Try paul mitchell tea tree shampoo, every other day. And use your regular shampoo besides that. Also, try to avoid conditioning if you can, or use a light spray in conditioner.

There are dry shampoos that soak up oil. I'm not sure where you get them but you can play around on-line and find some. Or, talk to your local beauty salon and see if they can recommend a shampoo. One trick you can use in the meantime is you can put a little bit of baby powder in your hair to soak up excess oil.

Try some Pantine Pro-v for women of color or some other African American products some of my white friends found it to be very helping with the same problem

Washing your hair everyday can cause your subaceous glands to be over stimulated which in turn causes more grease to be secreted. Try using conditioner only on the ends of your hair. Also try using a baby shampoo and see if that helps as well. Baby shampoos are mild and gentle on the hair.

Well, for starters...washing ur hair too much makes it super greasy if u already have that problem. So...wash ur hair every other day, and if u can hold it for one more day, even better! Next, wash ur hair like normal, only focusing on ur scalp because that's where ur hair is "dirty". When conditioning, do not rub conditioner on ur scalp. Start at the ends and then work towards the top. Afterall, ur scalp needs no conditioning. U should also go to walmart and find urself a tea tree oil shampoo...i know...it doesnt exactly smell amazing, but im sure it will help control the excess oil. Shop around the shampoo aisle, and maybe you can find something especially for oily hair. Good luck hun!
