I am 13. A boy,5`6, blue eyes and black hair.

I want to dye my hair blue.

I have good explations, But i am affraid to ask my parents. What do YOU think i should do?

We compromised with our 13 year old and used temporary color that washes out in 5 or 6 shampoos. She wanted the ugliest brick red - but she liked it and it is her hair. Will not allow permanent dye, but after the way she handled this issue, we will let her pick any temporary color (or colors) that do not insult or offend others and will be allowed by her school. Talk to the parents - sometimes temporary color is better than a "new" cut. Parents that are arbitrary may just get the shock of seeing a shaved head. Don't argue with them as that makes it worse. Just make an alternate choice.

doesnt blue tend to fade to a really gross colour i highly recommend tht you do NOT to it.

if your parents dont approve of it get a dye thats semi-permanent (meaning it'll wash out after 20 so washes).

use a temperary die, so it'll be like, a tint of blue in dark hair. it would look better like that

Sure if you want to. Ask them if you can use something temporary and they'll be more likely to let you than if you tried to use something permanent.

do it , but don`t get surprized, when people do a double-take look at you. i`ve heard some people whine about this, when whats going thru my head is, man what shade of blue was that dudes hair!
