I actually dye my hair Atmoic Pink and to achieve the bright vibrant color, I just go to hot topic and spend 12 bucks on a bleaching kit there. Talk about bang for your buck. I have dark brown hair and by the time I leave the bleach in my hair for 45 minutes its almost white. After you bleach it just put the color on dry hair and let it stay in as long as you want it to pretty much. And for touch ups for when it starts to fade just reapply more of ur leftover bright color. And wash your hair every other day too, to avoid fading.

It's important to bleach your hair out as much as possible before you dye it, unless you have really blonde hair. The color will fade over time so you will have to keep re-dyeing it occassionally. They also make special shampoos for color-treated hair.

Go the the hairdresser and they can give your a permanent haircolor. They have the wild colors there. They will not use a permanent color on you tho if your hair was previously processed (highlights, perm). Then you will have to get a semi-permanent and just redye it frequently (like I do!).

I'd say gradually go darker and darker just to make sure you'll like it. But if you want to go black at once use a soft black first. The darker hair color will defenatly make your blue eyes stand out so you may not even need the colored contacts. And just b/c your dying your hair black with your pale skin tone doesn't mean you'll look gothic. I would suggest, when dying your hair, to start slow and gradually build up to the darker colors; you may find a color that better suits you on the way to the darker colors. Going from very light to very dark is a trasition that may be overwhelming and if you don't like it and you try to go back to blonde your hair could turn orange, green or even bright pink! Sapphire Blue contacts do look great but ask your optomitrist to let you try them on first and see how you like them you may end up choosing something else like sea blue or sky blue. Even with self tanner you could look unnatural. I just suggest doing things slow and not rushing into a color that you might end up hating!

Hello, I've got (dyed) reddishy darky brown hair that is 4 inches past my shoulder (ish). I've got pale skin and electric blue eyes, and my hair is layered. I've got a side but fullish fringey thing. I've been rocking the dark hair/blond streak for over a year and a half and I have to say, it's difficult to maintain!! You'll probably need to bleach first, but my suggestion is to NOT (let me say that again) NOT bleach it too much!! Take it up to a yellow-blond... this will make it light enough to really pop, but leave enough pigment in the hair to really adhere to the new color you put in! If you over-bleach, the hair will be too porous to keep the color, and it will fade almost immediately!

As for brand--try Wella or Chi... best colors and they last longer! Good luck!

I think green contacts would be perfectly okay...but blue might look a little too unnatural. Your optometrist or contact provider will usually provide you with some sort of brochure or pamphlet describing all of the colors they offer and what will look best on which people. For bright colors, you'd have to go blonde first and then dye it with a bright semi-permanent hair dye like manic panic, fudge, or special effects. If you try to use the dye without lightening the natural color, it's like putting colored plastic wrap against black paper. At best, you'll be able to pick up some subtle highlights when the sun hits it.

The problem with dying your hair blue is that you have to bleach it to darn near white. If you dye it golden blonde and then add blue to it, you may end up with hair that has a slight greenish tint, depending on how yellow the hair is.

If you want to lighten your hair at home, there are at home hair dye box kits for people of color like Hi-Rez by soft sheen-carson. I've never tried their blonde color, but I did use a red shade that came out more vivid then any of the mainstream home dye kits. I think with home hair dye kits marketed towards people of color, they formulate it assuming you're using it on dark brown to black hair.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with getting it professionally bleached either. Just depends on $$$/how comfortable you are dying your own hair/how comfortable you are trusting a stylist to do it right.

And there's always the option of colored extensions.

After you shampoo and condition with the Selsun Blue, try a deep conditioner of another sort that you like the smell of. Like Pantene or Thermosilk.

Or, if you use a mouse for styling, get one that has a nice fragrance, not just a plain mouse.

Lol, my hubby had that same problem. But he used the pantene after now. And it doesn't affect how effective the Selsun Blue is.

That should not happen if you thoroughly wash out the shampoo and I would suggest you use a cream-less conditioner for 1 or 2 minutes and rinse.

Get a shampoo with tea tree in it. Great stuff. Paul Mitchell's has the best. It is a bit costly, but it LASTS A LONG TIME. You just use it once or twice week and you just pour enough in your hand to make it look like the size of a dime. After you wash your hair with that, then you use a regular shampoo that smells nice.

It may even work with the Selsun Blue too, but Tea Tree smells better than Selsun Blue

Maybe try Head %26amp; Shoulders. It's still a drandruff shampoo but it comes in so many different scents that if you don't like one you can always try another.

(well that isn't showing at all cause my hair is black. bummer since she ordered it and did it free for me) anyway, she didn't do the whole bleach hair first and then apply so it just went over my normal black hair. anyway i jumped in the shower the following day and kinda freaked when i saw all the color coming out in the water. is this suppose to happen?

Yes, hair dye will wash out for a couple of days. You just didn't get the excess dye out when you washed it the first time. It is hard for a color to take to black. Better luck next time.

It's totally normal for a little bit of the dye to come out of your hair the first time (or maybe even a few times) after you wash it. Even though she washed your hair most likely after the dye set, there is still some left over that didn't soak into the hair that will come out. It's a good idea to buy a shampoo that is specially formulated for color treated hair----it helps to prevent pre-mature fading. Hope this helps!! :)

Use cool tones. Most makeup is labeled cool, warm, or neutral. With fair skin and blue eyes all the cool tones will look good on you. Cool tones are usually mostly light colors, your can also use a dark blue eye liner to really make your eyes stand out. Shell or dusty pink lipsticks, with maybe a light spice cheek color.

Actually I have blue eyes and dark highlighted hair and the browns are really in now - I would say any shade of brown would be fine - mocha, hazelnut, etc. The brown colors bring out your eye color.

for a more sophisticated look, H%26amp;M is super cheap and looks more professional. I personally love how H%26amp;M fits on me. Aeropostale clothing isn't good quality, and one tends to look like everyone else when wearing brands like hollister, aero, ae, abercrombie,etc.

the only thing i can think of is for you to get some hair dye that matches your regular hair color. dye your hair and that will get rid of the blue spots. then when your hair starts to grow out, it will be much less noticable than the blue. good luck!

You can color it with a dark brown, or alomost black. That will help camoflauge it for a while. going to a salon is your best bet, but if not, just look for a dark shade of brown at a local drugstore!-Hope this helps!

I just have to add-You shouldnt put dishwashing liquid on your hair for an hour-it will really dry your hair out -it might b ok to shampoo it once or twice in it, but I dont think it will help your situation. Good luck :)

i know this sounds dumb, but try vinegar and if that doesnt work, make sure youre hair is dry before you try baking soda. It helped wehn i had to get purple hair dye out, good luck!! And don't bleach, it oculd blister ur scalp and you could lose your hair at an earlier age. if you cant try dying ur hair all blue again, but go to a pro salon lol. not ur sister. my sister cut my bangs and now need less to say i have to clip them up or back. lol! i have o wait for them to grow back...oh well good luck!!

I would thing about growing you hair long at least passed your shoulders... with only some subtle layering and more layering at the very ends - this would soften your face.

For color I would steer you away from red. Maybe a nice medium brown and very neutral blonde highlights... someone else mentioned taupe... and yes I agree it would be an excellent color for highlights.

You would look good with either black (which would make your eyes really stand out) or a honey, golden blonde ( which would show off your olive complexion). If you decide to go blonde have it done at a salon so that your hair won't turn orange. As far as a cut maybe a layered bob. The best thing to do is find a salon that will help you create the best look.

If you walked into my salon, I would suggest cooling down your color to a shiny chocolate brown THEN applying foil highlights, making them heavier around the facial area. Afterwards, I would apply a neutral taupe/blonde toner to the highlights, to tone down any orange color that almost always appears when dark hair is bleached. For the cut, I don't know what length you are starting with, but perimeter layers around your face, beginning at your cheekbones would probably accent your facial shape. Hope this helps you!

OMG!! That is a tiny yorkie!! As far as I know, that is not normal at all. I have a yorkie that is a year old and nothing like that has ever happened to him.

Could be due to demodecosis due to immunosuppression. It's typical of young dogs with immature immune systems. It's not contagious, it just the demodex mites located in the hair follicle going unchecked by the immune system and becoming over populous. It causes inflammation around the hair follicle causing it to fall out. Most are not itchy, unless they've developed a secondary skin infection. Growing her up and getting he spayed will stop this. She may need to be treated and you should have her seen by your vet to see if this is what is going on and for treatment.

Thus "dominance." Any Children however that inherit his brown eyed gene will also have brown eyes.

You have blue eyes which is a recessive trait, so the gene you carry but may not display also has to be a reccesive trait.

it's easier to explain with a visual but thats impossible, so let me try and show you how it would work.

We don't know what your bfs non-showing trait is so lets assume for the sake of argument that it is blue.

We also don't know for sure that your non showing trait is blue, it could be green, but lets stick with blue here too.

your boyfriends gene pair looks like this:

Rr (1 dom. 1 reccesive)

and yours looks like this:

rr (two reccesive)

So taking one gene from you and one from him (a child gets one gene from mom and one from dad for every trait they posses) your childs gene pair possibilities are this:

Rr, Rr, rr, rr

in other words a 2 in 4 chance or 50% chance of having blue eyes

This is a 50/50 chance PER CHILD, not a 50/50 chance combined for all your children.

remember that we dont know for sure what your non-active traits are so while this model is accurate whereas genetics are conscerned, it may not be acurate to your specific case, i was simply using it as a "teaching tool"

Also, there is always the possibility that his non-active trait is still brown, in which case, yeah, your screwed for the idea of having blue eyed kids, (but the good news is that they'd have a reccesive blue eyed gene from you, so your grankids could have blue eyes) . That is pretty uncommon though. Most dominate trait people carry some reccesive gene.
